Nursery | 2.10+ Years
At 3 children are co-operative, happy and eager to learn and please. They now begin to make friends and are ready for small group activities. They are moving towards independence and like to figure things out for themselves! At Apples n Cherries Preschool we move slowly towards a more structured day with activities that require higher cognitive and processing skills.
The curriculum too is more structured with clear learning objectives and goals set for each area of learning and development.
This includes the Ruth Miskin Phonic Program for language development, a math program with numbers and concepts, science and enquiry, enrichment for intellectual development, art, craft, music, dance and expression for creative development, outdoor games with simple rules and indoor activities to develop gross and fine motor dexterity and last but not the least a well planned program for pre-writing skills.
Each area of learning is addressed through the multiple intelligence approach.
- A Program - 8.30 am to 10.30 am
- B Program 8.30 am to 3 pm
- C Program 8.30 am to 6 pm
- Age : Children between 2.10 to 3.9 years of age at the start of Term
